This garlic butter pasta recipe is a perfect week night dinner because it's only 3 ingredients, and ready in 20 minutes. Additionally, this super simple recipe is perfect to showcase the beauty of the rainbow farfalle pasta.
Rainbow Farfalle with Garlic and Butter
Ingredients
1 package rainbow farfalle
4 garlic cloves, minced
8 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Basil for garnish
Instructions
In a large pot of boiling water cook farfalle until al dente. Drain, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.
In a large skillet brown garlic in butter and olive oil.
Once the garlic is softened, toss it in with the pasta.
Add in salt, pepper, and pasta water until all pasta is dressed.
Garnish with basil leaves. Serve hot.
